Attempt theft of motor cycle, Wheat Croft, Bishops Stortford

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime – theft from / theft of, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

On Tuesday 3rd June 2025, between 04:30-04:49hrs, there was an attempt theft of a motor cycle. Victim has left their motor cycle by the front of the property, locked and secured. Offenders have tried gaining access to the vehicle, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. Offenders have then left the location and the area, in an unknown direction.

If you have any information or CCTV footage regarding this crime, then please contact the police, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the crime reference number 41/50528/25. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Please be vigilant and do report any suspicious activity in your local area.

Remember to keep all vehicles locked and secured, when unattended.

Consider the use of CCTV and secuirty lighting.

Consider the use of Faraday pouches.

Don't leave high valubale items out on display, such as Sat-Navs etc.
